Catherine Mcclure Gibson

Catherine McClure Gibson, 70, of Kings Mountain, NC passed away January 19, 2021 at Atrium Health-Cleveland, in Shelby, NC.

She was born February 20, 1950 in York County, SC to the late Ralph Henderson and Helen Penley McClure.

Catherine was a member of Harvest Baptist Church, Kings Mountain.  She loved her family and forever companion, Lucy.  She was extremely proud of her grandson, Brandon, and all of his musical accomplishments.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her spouse, Tom Gibson.

Catherine is survived by her son, David Hamrick and wife, Rachel; a brother, Larry McClure; and grandson, Brandon Hamrick.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Harvest Baptist Church in Kings Mountain, NC.  The family will receive friends after the service at the church.
