Catherine Faye Fore Gilbow

Catherine Faye Fore Gilbow, 81, of Gastonia, passed away June 26, 2018, at her home.

She was born January 23, 1937, in Mecklenburg County, daughter of the late Alda Fore.

Mrs. Gilbow was a dedicated mother who loved and cherished all her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo and was an avid reader.

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Friday, June 29, 2018, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Larry Laws.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be private.

Mrs. Gilbow is survived by her sons, Kenneth Gilbow Jr. and wife, Deborah, Jeff Gilbow, Calvin Gilbow Sr., Timothy Gilbow; daughters, Debra Gibson and husband, Charles, Penny Welch, Pamela Gilbow; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Clifford Gilbow Sr.; sons, William Gilbow Sr., Steve Gilbow Sr.
