Carolyn Ledford Teague

Carolyn Ledford Teague, 74, of Dallas, passed away October 17, 2022, at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical center, Charlotte.

She was born November 24, 1947, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Lonnie Grady Ledford and Betty Crisp Ledford.

Carolyn loved the Lord, her family and her fur-babies.

She retired form Wix Filters after 30 plus years of service. She spent most of that time working in the metal department.

She enjoyed trips to the beach and the mountains.

A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Friday, October 21, 2022, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Johnny Norris Jr.

The family will receive friends 2:00-3:00 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

Carolyn is survived by her son, James Teague; her daughter, Carmen White; brother, Rick Ledford and wife Brenda; sister, Teresa White; grandchildren, Dustin White, Dylan White and Payton Teague; special cousins, Delores Stillwell; fur babies Toby and Sadie.

In addition to her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her husband, James "Billy" Teague; brother, Redgie Ledford.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, Gastonia.
