The Lord took an angel home.
A dear mother and grandmother, Carolyn B. McCombs, 80, of Gastonia, passed away October 20, 2018 at her residence.
A Gaston County native, she was born March 10, 1938, the daughter of Waverly and Vida Mae Bradshaw.
Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Randy Bradshaw and Jamie McCombs; daughters, Lois Morris and April Wilson; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Her family and friends were blessed to have her in their lives; and she will be missed each and every day.
A funeral service, officiated by Pastor David Stewart, will be held 2 pm Thursday, at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Hollywood Cemetery, Gastonia.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
