Carolyn Guiton

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carolyn Warren Guiton, who left us on November 19, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on December 6, 1949, Carolyn lived a fulfilling life in Kings Mountain, NC. She was a devoted wife to her husband, James "Donnie" Donald Guiton, for an impressive 47 years.

Carolyn was a familiar face in the community, working for 30 years at Jackson Hewitt, where she made many friends and left an indelible mark. She had a passion for tending to her flowers and her chickens, always finding joy in the simple things. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and could always be found cheering them on at the rodeo. She was known at the local rodeos as the gate lady and was loved by many families in the rodeo community.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Mary Warren, and is survived by a loving family that includes her sons, Zach and Josh Guiton; stepsons, Todd and Scott Guiton; her adopted children, Chris Pruitt and Evonne Stevens; daughter, Lisa Tesseneer; brother, Mike Warren; sister, Kay Newlands; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly.

The family will hold a visitation on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, located at 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052. All are welcome to come share their memories, celebrate Carolyn's life, and extend their condolences.
