Carolyn Ann Bryant

Carolyn Ann Bryant, 88, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2025, at her residence.

She was born October 7, 1936, in Gaston Co, NC, daughter of the late Bethel and Pauline Bryant.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Everett Bryant.

Carolyn attended Southminster Church. She worked as a supervisor at Bali Corporation for more than 20 years. She loved the beach and the mountains and enjoyed gardening and fresh flowers. Her grandchildren were her passion. She also loved dogs, and had many furry companions in her lifetime.

Survivors include her daughter, Phyllis Maynard (John); sons, W. Michael Haven (Virginia) and Thomas "Tom" E. Haven (Kim); grandchildren, Allison Maynard and Olivia Haven; sister-in-law, Polly Bryant; niece, Rachel Newton (Jimmy); and nephew, Mark Bryant.

A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC,  beginning at 2:00 pm with Chaplin Holly Shames officiating. A private burial of the urn will take place at Hollywood Cemetery
