Carol Marie Wolf Shank

Gastonia, NC Carol Marie Wolf Shank, age 89, passed away January 14, 2013 at The Robin Johnson House, Dallas, NC. She was born March 21, 1923 in Carroll County, Indiana, daughter of the late John F. and Edna Wikel Wolf. Carol was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Gastonia. She loved doing art work, painting, drawing, beadwork and working puzzles. A memorial service will be held 4 pm on Tuesday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by Revs. Josh Glandon and George Griffin. Interment is private. She is survived by: her sons, Leslie Shank and his fiancee, Lynka Edwards, Theodore Gene Shank and his wife, Christine; daughters, Anna Marie Shank, Carmen Sue Odle and husband, Danny; brothers, Kenneth Wolf, Dean Wolf; sisters, Lois Wolf, Jean Wolf; 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by: her husband, Clifford Shank; son, Clifford Leroy Shank; brothers, "Jay" Lee and Raymond Wolf.
