Carl Parker

February 3, 1952 — November 18, 2016

Carl Eugene Parker, 64, of Gastonia, passed away November 18, 2016 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.

A Gaston County native, he was born February 3, 1952, son of the late Carl and Willie Parker.

Mr. Parker was member of the US Marine Corps.

Left to cherish his memories are wife, Barbara Parker of the home; sons, Shane Parker, Terry Parker and wife Emily; Gene Parker and wife Hannah; and Ronnie Parker; brothers, Jerry, Mike, Danny, and Lonnie Parker; grandchildren, Christopher, Tyler, Austin, and Larissa Parker, Joshua O'Dell, Destiny Taylor, Lillian and Hunter Parker, Sirenna Parker.

A special thanks is given to Danny and Lonnie Parker for all the help with their brother.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Michael Byrd, will be held 1 pm Monday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 pm Sunday.

Interment will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
