Carl Eugene Ledford

Carl Eugene Ledford, 83, of Gastonia, passed away on March 31, 2016, at the Robin Johnson Hospice House in Dallas.

He was born May 17, 1932, in Gaston County, son of the late Elzie Barnette Ledford and Audrey Jones Ledford.

Carl was a US Marine Veteran.

A graveside service will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, April 3,2016, at Westview Gardens,1123 Edgewood Rd. Bessemer City, with the Rev. Chris Doster officiating.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 63 years, Betty Sanders Ledford; sons, Keith Ledford and wife, Sharron, Kevin Ledford; brother, Danny Ledford; sister, Barbara Smith and husband, Ray; grandchildren, James and John; great – grandchild, Avi; niece and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by grandson, Christopher Ledford.

The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Michael Case for the care he provided to Carl.
