Carl "Freddie" Fredrick Wilson Jr., 62, of Gastonia, passed away, Friday, June 28, 2019, at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
He was born September 10, 1956, in Richmond, VA son of the late Carl Fredrick Wilson Sr., and Liliana Conti Wilson.
Freddie was a US Army veteran who served in Vietnam.
He was formerly employed with Jordan Acoustical & Flooring in Ranlo.
Mr. Wilson is survived by his son, Jason Fredrick Wilson of Bessemer City; special friend, Lisa Lafrancis of Bessemer City; brothers, David Neal Wilson and Stephen John Wilson, both of Gastonia; and sister, Regina Fortune of Chesterfield, VA.
A funeral service will be held 7:00 pm, Tuesday, July 2 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to his son, Jason Wilson, 204 E. Texas Ave., Bessemer City, NC 28016.
Burial will be private.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
