Carl William Hudson

Carl William Hudson, 61, of Gastonia, went home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2013 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born May 22, 1952 in Lancaster County, SC son of Wilsie Mae Eason Ernandez and the late John William Hudson. Mr. Hudson was a member of Westview Baptist Church, Gastonia. He loved his family, church family, and his landlords Peggy and James Kirk. He also loved all of his dear friends at Sunoco on Bessemer City Highway. Carl was a US Army veteran. A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Monday at Westview Baptist Church, 3385 Fairview Dr., Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Jerry Millwood. The family will receive friends 6:00- 8:00 p.m. on Sunday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia. Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City, with full military honors by the Gaston Honor Guard.
