Candy Quick

Candy Lee Quick, 56, of Lancaster, passed away on April 6, 2021 at her residence.

She was born on November 3, 1964, in Gaston County, NC, to the late Jay and Helen Clippard Roberts.

Candy worked as a CNA at the Kings Mountain Hospital. She was a loving, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Candy was a strong willed and kind woman.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Danna Poteat; brother, William "Billy" Roberts; and sisters, Linda Moore, Jane Penner, and Millie Crib.

Left to cherish Candy's memories are her husband, Clay Quick; sons, Chris, and Casey Poteat; daughter, Lacie Harris (Josh); sister, Judy James; and grandchildren, Jaxen Harris, Skylar, Logan, Nathan, and Jacob Poteat.

A funeral service, officiated by Pastor Richard Myers, will be held at 4:00 pm on Monday, April 12, 2021 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052.

The family will receive friends from 3:00 – 4:00 pm at the funeral home the day of the service.
