Camellia Belcher

Camellia Iveria Byers Belcher, 69, of Belmont, went home August 6, 2022, surrounded by family and the angels of Caromont Regional Medical Center after a long battle with COVID.

She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Henry and Effie Byers.

She is survived by her sons Paul Belcher and wife Miranda of Sheffield Lake, Ohio, Stephen Belcher and wife Barbara of Gastonia; grandchildren, Bradley, Brayden, Chloe, and Mark Deshields and wife Crystal; six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, Tim Byers and wife Lena of Owensboro, Kentucky; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life, officiated by Pastor Troy Beaver, will be held 4pm on Friday, August 12, 2022, at The Refuge Church, 1163 Hwy 274, Clover, SC. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family invites donations to be made in Camellia's honor to The Refuge Church, 1163 Hwy 274, Clover, SC 29710 or NarroWay Productions, 3327 SC-51, Fort Mill, SC 29715.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
