Calvin Paul Rodden

Clover, SC Calvin Paul Rodden, 58, passed away at CaroMont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. He was born October 12, 1955 in Dearborn, Michigan son of Calvin Hurbert and Nancy Bursha Rodden. Mr. Rodden was a fireman at South Gastonia Volunteer Fire Department #52, where he was a past Assistant Chief. A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia officiated by Pastors Milton Smith and Shannon Williams. The family will receive friends from 12:00 -2:00 pm on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be at Westview Gardens Cemetery, Bessemer City. In addition to his parents he is survived by: his wife, Mary Cain Rodden; children, Stephanie Ann Mierjewiski and husband Joe, Jason Anthony Madison and wife Diane; brothers, Perry Rodden and wife Nettie, Marty Rodden, John Rodden and wife Sonja, Jerome Rodden and wife Sandy; grandchildren, Joshua Adam, Alexis Ranae, Shelby Lynn, Emily Faith. He is preceded in death by: his maternal and paternal grandparents.
