Callie Ewart

Callie Louise Ewart, 78, of Shelby, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021 at Levine & Dickson Hospice House at Aldersgate in Charlotte.

She was born September 11, 1942, in Graham County, NC, daughter of the late Robert and Maudie Postell.

Mrs. Ewart was a member of Hope Community Church in Shelby.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Ewart; and several brothers and sisters.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, Billy Keeter and wife Lucy, Michael Dean Keeter and wife Barbara, Cecil Keeter; daughter, Joyce Guye; brothers, George Postell, Clifford Postell, and Odell Postell; and numerous grandchildren.

A graveside service, officiated by Rev. Sam Barnette, will be held 2:00pm on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Westview Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:30 pm Tuesday at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
