Butch Price, 67, of Gastonia, passed away July 18, 2017 at Testa Hospice in Kings Mountain.
He was born July 13, 1950, a native of Gaston County, the son of the late Clyde Price and Betty Cash Rick.
Left to cherish her memories are his former spouse, Anita Marcell Murphy; daughter, Shelly Price; grandchildren, Patrick and Logan Armstrong and Zeke Bolin; step-daughters, Crystal and Brandy Murphy; step-grandchildren, Lilly, Allie Kyleigh and Kenny; sisters Debbie Clark and Glenda Absher; nephew, Jimmy Clark and nieces, Jackie Absher Capps and Jamie Absher.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Price and niece Darlene Absher.
A memorial service, officiated by Pastor Gene Bates, will be held 2 pm Saturday, July 29, 2017 at City Set on a Hill Church, 1299 W. Franklin Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby, NC 28150.
