Bunn (Doug) Douglas Hambright, 79, of Gastonia, went to be with the Lord on January 18, 2023, at home surrounded by family.

He was born May 21, 1943, in York, South Carolina, the son of the late Jack Cline and Faye Howell.

Doug was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved to sing and dance.

He is survived by his daughters, Robin Hambright, and Wendy Black; estranged son, Dale Hambright; grandkids, Jordan (Monkey)Hambright, Donald (Treyman) Webb III, Heather Morgan, Haleigh Whitley, Derek (Derio) Black, Jr., and Kelsie (Maymay) Black; and seven great grandchildren.
