Buddy Lee Biggerstaff

Buddy Lee Biggerstaff, 69, of Charlotte, passed away April 5, 2017 at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.

He was born March 18, 1948 a native of Mecklenburg County, the son of the late John Wesley Biggerstaff and Elsie Allison Biggerstaff.

Buddy was an outstanding father.  He enjoyed playing golf, but his favorite pastime was spending time with his grandson, Landon Biggerstaff and watching him grow.  He was a veteran of the United States Army and retired from Able Metal Fabricators.

Left to cherish his memories are his son Travis Biggerstaff (Kendall); brother John Biggerstaff, Jr. (Connie) and one grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sisters.

The family will be celebrating his life with a visitation 6 – 8 pm Monday, April 10, 2017 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
