Bruce Douglas Childers, 62, of Gastonia, passed away October 21, 2016 at Brian Center, Gastonia.

He was born December 2, 1953, in Chester, SC son of the late Wesley Childers and Gladys Andrews.

A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Thomas Brown, will be held 10:30am Wednesday, October 26, at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

Interment will be 1:00pm Wednesday at the National Cemetery in Salisbury.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
