Brenda Wilson

Brenda Faye Wells Wilson, 78, of Gastonia, passed away, Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Caromont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia.

She was born October 7, 1942 in Gaston County NC, daughter of the late Bruce James Wells and Mildred Barnes Wells.

Ms. Wilson was a member of Zion Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School; she also was a former Girl Scout Troop Leader. Brenda loved nature and spending time outdoors.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving children, sons and daughters in- law, Terry and Denise Wilson, Rev. Scott and Janice Wilson; daughters and son in- law,  Lisa and Tony Flowers, Karen Hoffman; grandchildren, Leslie and Brian Perkins, Terry Keith II and Sara Wilson, Danielle DeLuna, Amy Shelton, Jason Shelton, Allison and Dex Aho, Wesley and Carrie Hoffman, Jake and Ashley Hoffman, Heather and Dillon Simmons, Jason and LeAnne Wilson, Amber and Josh Lanning; 21 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Rebecca Wells.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Keith Wilson; brother, James Bruce "Bucky" Wells; and son-in-law, Tracy Hoffman.

A visitation will be held Tuesday from 6 to 8pm at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S York Rd. Gastonia.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Wednesday, 11am at the funeral home with Rev. Scott Wilson and Rev. Bobby Ammons officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
