Brenda Lois Thomas, 79, of Camden, South Carolina, passed away Friday, October 21, 2022.

She was born July 12, 1943, in Bryson City, North Carolina to the late Will and Juanita Ball.

Brenda was a member of Crowders Mountain Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert Thomas Sr., her daughter, Brenda Jean Estes, and sister Rachael Crawford.

Brenda is survived by her son, Bobby Austin Sr., daughters, Robin Huffstetler and Juanita Mixon (Harold), brothers, Jack Ball (Patricia), Joseph Ball (Vera Mae), 14 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Larry Laws, will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2022, at 2:00pm at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, NC 28052.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 25, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Lakeview Memory Gardens in York, South Carolina.
