Brenda Hyatt Snead

Brenda Hyatt Snead of Gastonia passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at the age of 73.

She was born January 8, 1945 to the late John Hyatt and Annie Mae Horne.

Brenda and her husband "CW" raised three sons in a home filled with music and fun.  Her home was always filled with kids from the neighborhood.  Every holiday was an opportunity for her to decorate.  She loved to visit with friends and family on her front porch.

Her son, Greg Snead and spouse Eli Branscome and two grandsons, Chris and Tyler Snead, will sadly miss her.  Three step-siblings, Annette Howard, Danny Horne and David Horne also survive her.  She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Walter "CW" Snead, sons Clarence Walter, Jr. "Bo", Jeff Snead and brother Johnny Hyatt.

The funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at 11 am at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

Reception of friends will occur at the funeral home one hour before the service.

Interment will be at Armstrong Cemetery.

The family wishes to express sincere gratitude to Dana Aldridge for the compassion and care she provided.  The family also expresses special appreciation for the wonderful staff at Senior TLC of Gastonia.
