Brenda Faye Pendleton

Brenda Faye Pendleton, 64, of Gastonia, passed away November 8, 2023, at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte.

A Gaston County native, she was born January 17, 1959, daughter of the late Everette and Rachel Pendleton.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Sariah Lytton; sister, Tammie Teague; brother, Neil Pendleton; and niece, Brandy Welch.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Gene Rowland; son, Patrick Rowland; daughters, Tina Duncan Berryhill, Shannon Duncan, and Kathy Lytton; sister, Susan Teague and husband Harold; grandchildren, Brandon Lytton, Aaron Berryhill, Christian Duncan, Marissa Duncan, DJ Garrett, Layla Garrett, Sarina Crawford, Steven Taylor, and Austin Taylor; great-grandchildren, Daisy Lytton, Serinity Lytton, Bobby Douglas Carpenter III, and Izzak Blu Berryhill.

A memorial service, officiated by Rev. Johnny Pendleton, will be held 4:00 pm Saturday, November 18, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 – 4:00 pm prior to the service.
