Brenda Pate 1942-2013 Gastonia - Brenda Kay Pate, 71, of Clover, SC, passed away Saturday, May 25, 2013 at Unihealth of Rock Hill. A Gastonia native, Brenda was born April 5, 1942, daughter of the late Rufus Craig Pate and Annie Smith Pate. A funeral service, officiated by the Rev. Leo Kuykendall, will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:15am to 11:00 am Tuesday. Interment will be at Westview Gardens. A guest registry is available at www.greenefuneral.com .
