Brenda Wiggins Mccombs

Brenda Wiggins McCombs, 78, of Bessemer City, NC, passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, at her residence.

She was born July 11, 1945, a native of Gaston Co, NC, daughter of the late James Madison Wiggins and Verdie Beatrice Sanderson.

Brenda was a member of Christ Worship Center, Bessemer City.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Don McCombs; brothers, Clifton Wiggins, Donald Lee Wiggins, and Bobby Wayne Wiggins; and sisters, Shirley Ann Howell, Evelyn Wiggins Jenkins, and Elizabeth Dian Davis.

Brenda is survived by her son, Jeff McCombs (Christine); daughter, Tina McCombs Abee (James); brother, Ronnie Wiggins; and grandchild, Jonathan Daniels (Robin Barnhill).

A funeral service officiated by Pastors Jimmy Maney and Tim Barrett, will be held 2pm, Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Christ Worship Center – 3951 W Franklin Blvd., Bessemer City, NC 28016.

Family will receive friends from 12 – 2:00 at the church.

Burial will follow the service at Greenwood Cemetery, Belmont.
