Brenda Sue Leftwich

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brenda Sue Leftwich, born on December 28, 1940, in Gaston County North Carolina. Brenda passed away peacefully on January 8, 2025, in Lexington, SC.

Brenda was a dedicated Certified Nurse's Assistant, spending her career caring for others in nursing homes. Her nurturing spirit didn't stop there; she was known as a loyal mom, friend, wife, and neighbor. She was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need, embodying the true meaning of community.

She is survived by her sons, Timmy and Roger Beaty, Alvin, Michael, and Frank Lanier; daughter, Marie Burns; and several grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held in her memory on January 20, 2025, at 2:00 PM at Westview Gardens, located at 1123 Edgewood Road, Bessemer City, NC. Everyone who knew and loved Brenda is warmly invited to join us in celebrating her life and the kindness she brought into the world.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reese Beaty and Zelda Beaty; her husbands, Thomas Lanier and Nicholas Leftwich; and all her siblings.
