Brenda Sue Jones

Brenda Lorance Jones, 72, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Sunday, March 23, 2025, at Caromont Regional Medical Center.

A native of Gaston County, she was born on December 8, 1952, to the late Aaron and Sarah Lorance.

Brenda is survived by her daughter, Leslie Hargett; brother, Lanny Lorance; sister, Terry Lorance Simmons; grandchildren, Jared Hargett, Jordan Knox, Josiah Knox, Cherish Laster, Ashley Cozart; great-grandchildren, Braydyn, Dominic, Abigail, Jazzy.

In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Morris Jones; son, Jamie Hargett; brothers, Danny and Gary Lorance; sister, Robin Shoemaker; great-grandson, Austin West.

A memorial service will be held Monday, March 31, 2025, 5:30 PM, at the South Point Boat Landing, Boat Launch Road, Belmont, NC.
