Brenda L. Hyleman

Brenda L. Hyleman, 77, of Chester, passed away on March 22, 2021, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born May 23, 1943, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Woody Marshall Burchfield and Mary Horton Burchfield.

Brenda was a member of First Assembly in Gastonia.

She was a wonderful, caring, and loving  wife, mother, grandmother and  great-grandmother.

A funeral service will be held  2:00 pm Friday, March 26, 2021, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Matt Lytton.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.

Brenda is survived by her sons, Kenny Hyleman and wife Andrea, Eddie Hyleman and wife Terry; sister, Evelyn Davis; grandchildren, Ashley Weidman and husband Jeff, Brittany Hyleman and  husband Ryan Swino, Austin Hamrick, Hunter Hamrick; great-grandchildren, Grayson Weidman, Alexandra "Lulu" Hyleman, Jaxson Hyleman, Caden Hyleman, Jaysen Hyleman; and a niece, Beth Sexton and husband J.R.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of  59 years, Kenneth Ray Hyleman; sister, Pat Sexton; brothers, Bud and Hub Burchfield.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
