Brenda Buchanan Hogan

Brenda Buchanan Hogan, 67, of Kings Mountain, passed away on September 15, 2021, at Atrium Health Cleveland.

She was born July 23, 1954, in Gaston County, daughter of the late James Buchanan and Joyce Stiles Fore.

Brenda loved her children and grandchildren.

She enjoyed spending time at the beach and the mountains.

She loved cooking big dinners for her family and friends.

A funeral service will be held Noon, Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.

Brenda is survived by her son, Roger Lay Jr.; daughters, Chasity Lay (Kevin Hatfield) Sr.), Dorothy Hogan; brother, Wayne Buchanan; sister, Jeanie Land (Gary); grandchildren, Gage Moore, Jada Spaulding, Rylie Britton, Taylor Lay, K.J. Hatfield Jr., Kandace Cothern, Destany Fritzler; granddog, Dime.
