Brenda Edwards Grindle

Brenda Edwards Grindle, 78, of Gastonia, NC passed away Friday, August 12, 2022, at her residence.

She was born October 15, 1943, to the late Eugene and Doris Lynn Edwards of Gaston County.

Brenda was the first female employed by Eaton Corporation in Gastonia. She was a member of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church. Her favorite hobby was shopping, and she had the gift of gab.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Johnny Grindle and brothers Charlie and Gary Edwards.

Brenda is survived by her son, Brian Grindle (Jamie), daughter, Tracy Cook (Gary), two brothers, Floyd Edwards, and Keith Edwards (Gerry), two grandchildren, Josh Phillips (Isabel), Stacey Phillips, two great-grandchildren, Evelyn and Lily Phillips.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 16, 2022, 10:00 – 11:00 am at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service.

A Graveside service officiated by Reverend Sam Barnette will be held at 11:30 am Tuesday at Gaston Memorial Park.
