Brenda Gibson, 68, of Crouse, passed away on September 13, 2018, at her home
She was born September 17, 1949, in Clarke County, GA, daughter of the late William and Essie Mae Massey.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, September 19 at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Rev. Junior Morris.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Westview Gardens in Bessemer City.
Mrs. Gibson is survived by sons, Kenneth and Samuel Wood; daughters, Teresa Bailey and husband Ricky, Sherry Gibson and husband Jerry Street; brothers, Ronnie Massey and wife Jeannie, Ollie Massey and wife Geraldine; sister, Ann Harrison and husband Cliff; grandchildren, Sammie Jo Dellinger, Krista Keck, Samantha Wood, Paris Griggs, Patrick Wood, Heather Wood, Calob Schaller; great-grandchildren, Jayda Bradley, Haven Keck, Koah Keck.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother, Tommy Massey; former spouse, Leon Gibson.
Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
