Brenda Joyce Donaldson Armentrout

Brenda Joyce Donaldson Armentrout, 83, of Gastonia, passed away on February 10, 2025, at her home.

She was born November 13, 1941, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Clarence W. Donaldson and Annie Donaldson.

Brenda had worked for many years in the textile industry.

She had a great love for music and enjoyed playing the piano.

Brenda is survived by her husband of 35 years, Dewey Armentrout; sons, Jerry Carringer, Greg Carringer (Brandy), Ricky Carringer; daughter, Donna Carringer Boyd (Marty); grandchildren, Diane Howie, Samantha Boone, Houston Carringer, Dillion Carringer, Alexis Carringer, Cameron Carringer, Charlie Rice, Ashley Carringer; great-grandchildren, JC Boone, Kinslee Treadway, Bentley Carringer, Beckham Carringer, Magnas Carringer, Charles Carringer Jr., Chloe Carringer, Jordyn Wallace, Jake Carringer, Haze Robinson.

In addition to her parents, Brenda was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Carringer Rice; sisters, Phyllis Donaldson and Ann Donaldson; brothers, Jr. Donaldson, Jay Donaldson and Roger Donaldson.
