Brenda Sue Cavender Currence

Brenda Sue Cavender Currence, 61, of Bessemer City, passed away January 7, 2015 at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia. She was born April 12, 1953 in Gaston County, daughter of the late Issac Dedmond Cavender and Bryte Pennington Cavender. Brenda was a member of Independent Full Gospel Church, Dallas. A funeral service will be held 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia officiated by the Reverends Willard Whitted and Don Combs. The family will receive friends 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Inurnment will private with family only. Brenda is survived by brothers and sister Joe Lewis Cavender and wife Annette of Bessemer City, Nancy Cavender Taylor of Sylva, Rev. Thomas Lee Cavender and wife Karen of Gastonia; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brother, Charles Issac Cavender; sisters, Pearl Lee Cavender Parker, Cynthia Ann Cavender.
