Brenda Joyce Cavender

B renda Joyce Cavender, 78, of Gastonia, passed away on May 8, 2020, at her home.

She was born August 18, 1941, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Roy and Elizabeth Breedlove.

Brenda was a hard-working lady who took good care of her family and loved them deeply. She loved going to the flea markets and auctions. She enjoyed taking trips to the mountains.

A celebration of Brenda's life will be held 2:00 pm Monday, May 18, 2020, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated  by Pastor Sam Barnette.

Brenda is survived by sons, Mark Allen Cavender, Jeffrey Scott Cavender, Charles Curtis Cavender; sister, Mary Breedlove Joyce; eight grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Isaac Cavender.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
