Brenda Brooks

Brenda Brooks,75, of Gastonia, passed away on January 12, 2017, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.

She was born August 8, 1941, in Baltimore, MD, daughter of the late Bartlett Meeks and Mazie McIntrye Meeks.

A funeral service will be held noon Monday, January 16, 2017, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Bobby Meeks.

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Sunday, January 15, 2016, at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by sons, Mike, Terry, Ronnie and Scott Brooks; brother, Rev. Bobby Meeks; sister, Bessie Cooper; seven grandchildren; ten great – grandchildren; one great- great- grandchild.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Ronnie Lee Brooks; her son, Keith Brooks.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
