Brenda Braswell

Brenda Sue Braswell, 71, of Vale, passed away October 13, 2021, at her residence.

A Gaston County native, Brenda was born May 25, 1950, to the late John and Mildred Messer.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Braswell; brothers, James, Kenneth, Glen, Richard, and Wesley Messer; sisters, Johnny Mae Blackstock, Florence Haskett, Ann Owens, and Rossetta Messer.

Left to cherish her memories are her sons, James Braswell (Cindy), Michael Braswell (Jeanette); grandchildren, Jackie Braswell, Karen Jenkins, Crystal Roberts, and Cierra May; great-grandchildren, Preston May, Isaac Bard, Lea McAtteer, Kailey, Turner, Ensley Jenkins, Brittany Gilliland, Dalton Roberts; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Services will be private.

Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
