Brenda "Tootsie" Berry

Brenda "Tootsie" Berry, 75, of Gastonia, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 18, 2016.

She was born on October 5, 1940 in Cleveland County, NC and was the daughter of the late Luther Clyde and Edith Hayes Isenhour.

Brenda was a member of Oakland Memorial Baptist Church. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother to her four children, five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her pet dog, Bella.

Brenda is survived by her sons, Keith Berry and wife Sandra of Gastonia; Mark Berry and wife Phyllis of Kings Mountain; Michael Berry of Kings Mountain; daughter, Rae Woodard and husband Bill of Gastonia; grandchildren, Justin Etters, Laura Hall, Anna Ross, Ella Berry, and Dawson Berry; great-grandchildren, Austin, TJ, and Morgan Etters; sisters, Mary Beth Wiggins and Mavis Dover.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Eugene Berry.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 22, 2016 at Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium – South Chapel (1503 South York Road, Gastonia, NC 28052), officiated by Reverend Mike Criswell.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
