Brenda Watkins Beck

Brenda Watkins Beck, 58, of Gastonia, passed away December 11, 2018 at CaroMont Regional Medical Center.
She was born July 20, 1960, in Andrews, the daughter of the late Edwin Randall Watkins and Peggy Hardin Bumgardner.
Brenda was a member of One Accord Independent and was employed with US Leisure in Stanley for over 23 years.
Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Arthur Beck; children, Mary Anne Barnes and Steve Aaron Nations; grandchildren, Tristan Barnes and Aryabella Nations; great-grandson, Zack Goodson; several nieces and nephews; great-nephews, Peyton and David McGregor; great-niece, Ava Bradley; sister, Linda Watkins Moore; step-brother, Wayne Thompson; aunt, Inez Simpson; and cousin, Elizabeth Summerall.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Travis Reynolds Nations; brothers, Ronnie and Eddie Watkins; step-sister, Hope Thompson and grandparents, Garfield and Lona Hardin.
The family will receive friends 7 – 9 pm Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Greene Funeral Service – South Chapel 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia.
A funeral service will be held 1 pm Friday at One Accord Independent, 115 Ridge Circle, Gastonia, officiated by Pastors Keith Walker and Zack Plemmons.
Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
