Brandee Michele Payne Kowalczyk, 29, of Kings Mountain, passed away January 11, 2018, at Caromont Regional Medical Center, Gastonia.
She was born January 29, 1988, in Cleveland County, daughter of Joseph and Rise` Payne.
Brandee was a devoted wife, daughter, and sister. She encouraged and got her brother and sister baptized. She was protective and totally committed to her family. She loved to help in her community, building homes and helping anyone in their time of need. She was full of life and promise. One of her greatest passions and joys was skating. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her. Brandee shared her love of life though being an organ donor.
A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Thursday, January 18, 2018, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Ronnie Pressley .
The family will receive friends 7-9pm on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Hillcrest Gardens, Mount Holly.
In addition to her parents Brandee is survived her loving husband of 11 years, Joseph "Joey" Kowalczyk; sister, Kelsee Payne Pruitt and husband, Jacob Tyler Pruitt; brother, Joseph "Joe Joe" Payne and fiancée, Ashley Johnston; niece, Sophee Michele Pruitt; maw maw, Virginia Payne.
She was predeceased in death by grandparents, Joseph "paw paw" Payne, her "nannie", Gladys Stephens and "paw paw", Robert Stephens; uncle, Jeff Payne; mother-in-law, Patricia Flannigan Kowalczyk.
Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
