Boyd C. Payseur

Boyd C. Payseur Sr., 87, of Bessemer City, passed away August 16, 2017, at Gastonia Care and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born March 7, 1930, in Lincoln County, son of the late Audie Cornelius Payseur and Katie Axson Payseur.

A funeral service will be held 3:00pm Monday, August 21, 2017, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Rev. David Poteat, Rev. Robin Taylor and Brother Ronnie Pressley.

The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Sunday, August 20, 2017, at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Walnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Dallas.
Mr. Payseur is survived by sons, Boyd Payseur Jr., James C. Payseur; daughters, Patricia Gibson and husband, Thomas, Peggy Wilson and husband, William; grandchildren, Stephen, Timothy, Miranda, Wendy, Samuel, Lille, Kathryn, April, Nelson, James; great -  grandchildren, Hunter, Aaron, Dacey, Cierra, Jay, Hayley, Elizabeth, Anthony, Dustin, Michael, Kelly, Amanda, Grace, John, Karma, Shawn, Makayla, JJ, Catlyn, Paul.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn Watts Payseur; great-grandchildren, Kathryn and Summer.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia .
