Bonnie Mazell Ramsey

Dallas, NC - Bonnie Mazell Ramsey, 73, of Dallas, passed away June 2, 2014 at the Robin Johnson House. She was born February 23, 1941 in Burke County. She was a member of South Gastonia Church of God and enjoyed fishing. A going home service will be held 3 pm on Thursday at South Gastonia Church of God,310 Carolina Ave., officiated by the Rev. Sam Barnette. The family will receive friends 7 - 9 pm on Wednesday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel, Gastonia. Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery. Bonnie is survived by: brother, Bob Williams of Hickory; sister, Virgie Garrison of Gastonia; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Mary Hedgepath and the daughter she always wanted, Tammy Frye. She was preceded in death by: her husband of 35 years, Vernon Ramsey; twin sister, Mozell Davis and her pet dog, Miss Blackie. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
