Bonnie Mae Kelly

Bonnie Mae Kelly, 92, of Gastonia, NC, passed away, Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at her residence.
She was born January 30, 1927 in Graham County, NC, daughter of the late William Newton Ellis and Cellia Hardin Ellis.
Bonnie was a church member of Springwood Church of God. She loved the Lord and to write to people to share Christ with everyone.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Claude Leonard Kelly; 2 great-grandchildren; 5 brothers; and 1 sister.
She is survived by her son, Robert Kelly and wife Wanda; daughter, Mary Sellers; grandchildren, Crystal Merritt and husband Michael, Donnie Sellers, Christie Price, Michelle Price, Robert Kelly Jr. and wife Shannon and Chris Kelly; 14 great-grandchildren; and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service officiated by Rev. Walt, will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be held at Oakwood Cemetery, Gastonia.
