Bobby Glenn Stewart

Bobby Glenn Stewart died peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC.  Born May 24, 1951 in Gaston County, Bobby was the son of the late Everett and Fannie Bowen Stewart. He attended Flint Groves School and Hunter Huss High School. Bobby was a US Army Veteran who faithfully served his country in the Vietnam War. Although Bobby spent most of his life in Gastonia, he also enjoyed living in Burnsville, NC where he was able to hunt and fish in the beautiful Appalachian Mountains. Bobby received excellent care at the Madison Health & Rehabilitation Center in Mars Hill this past year.  Bobby is survived by his much beloved daughters Cindy Stewart and Christy Isenhour, his son-in-law Jason, and his precious granddaughter Charlie Isenhour. He is also survived by his devoted sister Nancy Stewart, many close cousins, and his best friends Jimmy Bost and Terry Barnes.

Family and friends are invited to Bobby's graveside service at Hollywood Cemetery on Broad Street in Gastonia on Saturday, June 10, 2017 at 11:30 am., with the Rev. Sally Queen officiating.

The South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium is in charge of the arrangements.
