Bobby Robinson Jr

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Bobby Robinson Jr., who left us on May 17, 2026. Born on June 22, 1963, in York County, South Carolina, Bobby was a beloved husband, dedicated truck driver, and a true family man. Bobby spent his life doing what he loved, hitting the open road on long haul trips, which gave him a sense of freedom that few can understand.

Bobby was more than just a truck driver; he was a gamer at heart, always looking for the next level to conquer, and his love for music filled his life with joy. He could often be found at the pool table, where he enjoyed a good game, laughter, and the company of friends and family. Bobby's passion shined brightly in everything he did, especially when it came to his loved ones.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sheila Robinson, who was his rock and partner in all things. Also left to cherish his memories are his son, David Robinson (Emily); step sons, Lewis Sexton (Whitey) and Jimmy Sexton Sr; brother, Wayne Robinson; grandchildren, Dylan Chastain, Stacy Chastain, JJ Sexton, Zachary Sexton, Hailey Martin, Isabelle Robinson, and Michael Fonseca. Bobby's absence will be deeply felt by all who knew him, but he leaves behind countless memories that will bring smiles and laughter to those who remember him.

Bobby was preceded in death by parents, Bobby Robinson Sr. and Carolyn Ivester (James); step daughter, Crystal Chastain.

In honor of Bobby's life and legacy, a memorial service will be held at Greene Funeral Service South Chapel on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at 4:00 PM.

Though we say goodbye for now, Bobby's spirit will continue to live on in our hearts. Rest easy, Bobby; you will be missed.
