Bobby Ray Rick

Bobby Ray Rick, 54, of Mt. Holly, NC, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, February 16, 2025.

He was born on October 14, 1970, in Gastonia, NC, to Sheila Cox and the late Roy Thomas Rick Jr.

Bobby is a veteran of the United States Marines and was devoted and proud to serve for his country. He was employed at Cregger Plumbing Supply in Charlotte, NC. Bobby was well known by all for his outgoing personality, conversation, and laughter. He was good-natured, had a huge heart that touched many people. Bobby was a loving and proud father to two amazing daughters. He enjoyed spending time with his mini me's, family, and friends.

Bobby is survived by his loving and devoted significant other, Kim Doerflinger; mother and stepfather, Sheila Cox (Steve); daughters, Courtney Rick, Morgan Rick; siblings, Billy Rick (Anna), Susan Laye (Scott), Thomas Rick (Ansley); step siblings, Candy Cox, Boyd Cox; nieces and nephews, Justin Ledford, Brittany Ledford, Jayden Rick, the late Caleb Cox; his beloved Pitty, Saint.

All services are private. A celebration of life will be held at Jack Beagles on Thursday, February 27, 2025, from 3:00 - 6:00 PM.
