Bobby Dean Perkins

Bobby Dean Perkins, 84, of Gastonia, NC, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023, at Belaire Health Care in Gastonia.

He was born on October 31, 1939.  A native of Gaston County, he was the son of the late Bud and Lib Perkins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lloyd and Eslee Perkins, Nathan Daniel, and Mary Jane Childers Rose; and siblings, Harold Perkins, Joyce Stafford, and Jean Panther.

Bobby is survived by Lila Perkins; his daughters, Tammy Lutz and husband Bobby, Sheila Johnson and husband Ronald; brother, Mike Perkins and wife Sandy; grandchildren, Heather Johnson Koziel and husband Timothy, Bobby Johnson and wife Heather, Jessica Johnson Sargent and husband Dan, Brittany Lutz Eaker and husband Drew, and Zachary Lutz; and great-grandchildren, Ronald Holcomb, Timmy Koziel, Bella Johnson, Cameron Sargent, Nicholas Johnson, Hunter Johnson, Jackson Eaker, and Tenley Eaker.

The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff at Belaire Health Care Center for their exemplary care of their loved one.

Family will receive friends 6-8pm, Tuesday, November 21, 2023, at the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service – 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.

A funeral service officiated by Pastor Jeff Taylor, will be held 11:30am, Wednesday, at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia.
