Bobby Moore

Bobby Moore,81, of Rockwell, formerly of Gastonia,  passed away on January 6, 2021, at Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury.

He was born January 26, 1939, in Madison County, son of the late Thomas and Minnie Chandler Moore.

Mr. Moore was employed with Shoney's Restaurant in Gastonia for over 34 years.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 12, 2021, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd. Gastonia, officiated by Pastor John E. Busler Jr.

Burial will be at Westview Gardens, Bessemer City.

Mr. Moore is survived by his children, Lisa Shuping (Tim), Michael Wells (Anita), Gregory Wells (Billie),  Garry Wells, Mark Wells (Rheeta); sister, Joyce Honeycutt; ten grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Moore; brother Wiley Moore; 3 sisters.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to St. Luke's Reformed Church, 1775 Saint Luke Church Road, Salisbury, NC 28146.

Arrangements are with the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
