Bobby Ray Martin

Charlotte, NC- Bobby Ray Martin, 70, of Charlotte, NC passed away Wednesday, August 13th, at his residence. He was born April 19, 1944 in Bennettsville, SC, son of the late Thomas and Mary Lee Shankle Martin. A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm on Saturday at Greene Funeral Service - South Chapel - 1503 S. York Rd., Gastonia, officiated by the Rev. Richard Boatwright. Visitation will be from 2:00 - 2:45 pm on Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in Westview Gardens. Bobby is survived by his wife, Martha Martin; son, Alan Martin and wife Katina; daughter, Dawn Martin and fiancé Eric Fines; two brothers; two sisters and six grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers. Arrangements are with the South Chapel of Greene Funeral Service and Crematorium, Gastonia.
