Bobby Lee Wilson

Bobby Lee Wilson, 86, of Gastonia, passed away on July 24, 2013 at Caromont Regional Medical Center. He was born December 3, 1926 in Gaston County son of the late Roby and Catharine I. Ogburn Wilson. Mr Wilson was a World War II veteran who served in the US Navy. He was a member of Unity Baptist Church, Gastonia. A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Rd., Gastonia. The family will receive friends 10:00 - 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia with military honors. Mr. Wilson is survived by: his loving wife of over 49 years, Martha Krauss Wilson; sons, Richard Price and wife Janet, Bryan K. Wilson; daughter, Evelyn Pettus and husband David; three grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: three brothers; two sisters; grandchildren, Matthew and Travis Pettus.
