Bobby Gene Green

It is with heartfelt loss and cherished memories that we announce the passing of Bobby Gene Green, who departed this life on September 13, 2026, at the age of 75. Born on November 7, 1950, in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late Kenneth Green and Racheal West Green. Bobby was a devoted husband, and proud father, grandfather, and brother whose love for his family knew no bounds.

Bobby was an avid fisherman, and hunter who found joy and peace in the tranquility of the water and the outdoors. Those who knew him will remember his infectious smile and warmth, as well as the laughter shared during countless fishing trips with friends and family.

His legacy will continue to live on in the hearts of his loved ones and all who had the pleasure of knowing him. Bobby's life was a rich treasure chest of moments spent with family, where he instilled the values of love, kindness, and joy.

A funeral service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, September 17, 2026, at New Buffalo Baptist Church 1010 Lavender Road Grover, NC. The burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8 pm Wednesday, September, 16, 2026, at Greene Funeral Service, West Chapel, 216 Archie Whitesides Road Gastonia.

Bobby is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Judy Walker Green; son, Dwayne Green (Roxanne); sister, Linda Allmond (Reimund); grandchildren, Jennifer Ashe (Matt), Mandy Alvarez, Kent Green, Ricky James (Victoria); great-grandchildren, Cheslyn and Matthew Ashe, Piper and Tucker Green, Sophie, Bella and Gabriel Alvarez, Emma Mantooth, Maisy James.

In addition to his parents, Bobby was preceded in death by his children, Marsha Frailey, Bobby Kent Green, Johnny Wayne Green.

Bobby will be deeply missed but forever remembered as a beacon of love and joy in our lives.
